The Galena United Methodist Church 5K Run August 15, 2015

UMC Galena

The Galena United Methodist Church has been an active part of the Galena / Big Walnut community for over 200 years.  We are continuing that commitment by sponsoring our sixth 5K Run on August 15, 2015.  This year we have chosen Adaptive Homes, Home 4 Heroes Project, Delaware County, as the beneficiary.  This organization’s mission is to provide housing that meets the unique physical and psychological needs of disabled veterans and their families.  Over 95% of all funds received benefit the veterans directly.  Our donation will be used toward a home that will be breaking ground at 286 Prairie Run Drive, Sunbury in the very near future. You can become a sponsor by making a copy of the sponsor letter found at http://galenachurch.org/ and mailing it with your check to the address in the letter.  Any questions may be directed to MovingwiththeSpirit5K@gmail.com.
